What is a credit?
A successful video up to 300 seconds uses 1 credit. A 301-second video uses 2. Longer paid processing opens only after its limits have been validated. We show a quote and reserve the allowance before processing; failed tasks release it.
Free allowance is used first when available. Select “Use credits for priority processing” to skip it. Paid jobs leave your free allowance intact.
Export once. Export again.
TXT and copying are free. A 1-credit upgrade unlocks SRT, VTT and DOCX for one free transcript, without transcribing it again. Switching formats or downloading again is free after that.
Paid transcriptions already include all four formats. Buying a pack does not automatically unlock every old free transcript.
Refunds, in plain words.
Within 14 days of purchase, unused credits qualify for a full refund. If you have used some, the unused portion can be refunded proportionally at the pack’s per-credit price. Contact support with your purchase reference.
Failed transcripts are never charged. Unusually high failure rates may require manual review. Payment-provider rules and applicable consumer rights take precedence. Refunded credits are removed from your balance.
A few practical details.
Free allowance resets at 00:00 UTC and does not accumulate. The free trial has a monthly operating budget; any temporary pause is disclosed before processing.
Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Your account shows a reminder during the final 30 days. Each batch task is charged independently, so retrying failures never charges successful items again.
